The Challenge
The wonderful folks at Kiitos had worked with a designer to get their brand identity in place but not for their app design. The decision fell upon their back end developer on top of his duties building the app. No prototyping or interaction testing had been done and the app was on it’s way through the app store approval process.
The Solution
Using the beautiful brand colors, I brought the design in line with the clean and flat aesthetic the branding suggested. I created a unified language across the screens by creating templates which allowed me to have the buttons in consistent locations throughout, the color would be used to indicate different options, etc. We are working on the UX of the payment process now.
